Health and Recreation
We promote healthy, physical activity by including high-energy running games and daily brain breaks. We inspire students to keep active by encouraging healthy habits and integrating good nutrition in our daily curriculum.
We provide numerous opportunities for learners to express themselves. This is initiated through dance, singing, debate, poetry, readers’ theatre, art, group work, and journal reflection.
We integrate leadership principles by recognizing and nurturing the strengths, competencies, and virtues of each student. We honor greatness in everyone, and help students develop the attitudes, confidence, and motivation necessary to succeed in life.
We utilize an interactive, learner-centered approach to meaningful learning, involving students in setting and consistently monitoring their own progress. Research-based strategies and 21st century skills are implemented throughout the curriculum and include the integration of technology, digital citizenship, critical thinking, problem solving and creativity.
Our Christian Character program is designed to help children develop a loving and trusting relationship with God. The program offers a variety of stories, games, music and art that helps children connect Christian values to their daily lives.
